Title: Any good hotseat games to recommend? Post by: Riggswolfe on October 23, 2006, 09:50:10 AM I was thinking of some hotseat games to play with my girlfriend. The only one I know i have is MOO2. I think Disciples 2 might be hotseat but I'm not 100% sure. Any others?
Title: Re: Any good hotseat games to recommend? Post by: Morfiend on October 23, 2006, 10:39:22 AM Most turn based stratgy games have hotseat. The one I used to play all the time was Heroes of Might and Magic 3, that was good times. Also, I think Civ4 has hotseat, but im not 100%.

She's got alot to learn about this type of game, so we're on game two with game 1 ceded to me after she got wiped out after declaring war on her NPC neighbor early on. What makes dating her fun is she likes these games and I get to be her mentor. That and she's cute when she pouts because Kyoto got taken out by Augustus Ceasar.
I feel sorry for her in our current game though. I found 3 free scouts from villages and have my whole continent explored. I have the biggest city in the known world right now, plus 3 other large cities. My country has been stable and growing quickly. I have like 4 wonders of the world and am way up the tech tree due to turning great engineers in for tech advancements. She was beat to the Great Wall by 1 turn and has since been attacked by 10 barbarian raiders in the last 4-5 turns. (Roughly 2-3 raiders a turn come to her territory.) She has used all her resources fighting them off, repairing the damage to her infrastructure and retaking 2 cities. (they just happened to hit her two newest cities.) On the plus side she now has an archer unit that is pretty high level. |
