FYI, they have a very interesting business model: normal play is always free. You can purchase tokens to participate in online tournaments with real cash prizes, as well as a chance to win $50,000 US. Golden Fairway was developed using the Torque Game Engine, and the courses are representations of real world golf courses from various locations. Great concept, but everything is lacking. I lost interest in the first 10 mins but stayed with it for an hour or two. It never got better. Since nearly every golf sim has an online mode, I think I'd opt for that instead.

Interesting--while GG had nothing to do whatsoever with the dev of the game, I'd be interested in hearing additional details on what was lacking.
