I was watching "Ace of Cakes" (the guy makes all kinds of cakes like the one pictured above) on Food Network this weekend. They made one cake that looked like a Jeep Wrangler 4X4. They made another that looked like the building on the infield at the Preekness (however you spell that horserace's name). Both cakes took 50+ hours of work to make. The people got the cake, said "how pretty", and then just started tearing into them. Even though they know their work/art is meant to be eaten, you could tell it almost hurt them to see it torn apart.It's too perfect.
