Title: The girl with error message eyes
Post by: Tale on September 15, 2006, 09:11:15 PM
Very cyberpunk. Some textures in Second Life apparently went missing after an upgrade and the default is to say "MISSING IMAGE". From boingboing.net from a blog entry at http://www.warrenellis.com/?p=3062

Wonder how many anthropomorphized pandas are walking around Second Life right now with error message cocks.

Am I the only person that doesn't "get" this? I know what is technically going on, but I don't understand how this is...novel, or something.

Might start with some of this. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackers_%28short_stories%29#.22Burning_Chrome.22)

Everybody knew the House of Blue Lights was a spook joint anyway.
