Title: MMOG documentary: Second Skin Post by: Tale on September 09, 2006, 01:28:35 AM I stumbled across a May blog post (http://eqdailygrind.blogspot.com/2006/05/following-post-is-not-anonymous-at.html) about compulsive WoW-playing from someone who claimed to be making a Morgan Spurlock-style (Super Size Me) documentary about playing MMOGs. Not sure if he was just trying to sell his documentary, but he claimed to have became a compulsive WoW player instead of making his film.

Very early closed beta in that case :-P One of the guys I know who plays WoW currently was playing it back in closed beta, before I'd even quit SWG yet. I forget exactly when that was, but 3 years seems plausible. |
