I just noticed that the way the "new posts" marker on boards with child boards has changed. It used to be that if I just entered General the "new posts" check mark would go away. Now I have to enter each of General's sub boards to get rid of the new posts check mark from each of them before the check mark will disappear for General itself. It's the same for any of the boards with sub boards.

Was this change made on purpose or is it just an unintended side effect of something else?

We're trying to figure out why this is happening. It magically showed up recently. Also, I think I figured out how to turn off those annoying ads. Will try the solution tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance at home.

Yeah, I was going to bitch about this as well.  Seeing as how I seem to bitch a lot lately I decided to keep quiet.  Let us know about the ad situation as you modify it, please.  I was forced to turn them off due to some wierdness and annoyance (from the ads).

I had to make a change to the individual article check marks cause they weren't jumping to the last article anymore and I may have broken something.

You know, while I agree they were annoying, they never got in the way of my browsing. not even at 1024x768 at work. They were almost worth leaving up even after I found how how to get rid of them (again, I think I did, report if otherwise). But what can I say, I have a softspot for you fuckers.

I never saw them either.  Something around here seems to be working... or not working.  I might check to see if my waffle iron has suddenly started working again, too!

2 months.  This was an issue before the attempted sabotage (which we will never know the truth about, I just assume some people were assholes), and it evidently took awhile to fix.  I do remember being mocked about it.  complaining, that is.  Since some people do not have it happen then it must not be an issue!

Anyway, Schild, have you learned nothing from the MMO world?  You're supposed to keep repeating "Working as intended!" for a few months, then fix the problem, break two other things, and tell us this is all the way it's supposed to be.
