Pretty neat little indy game here. It's sort've like a multiplayer version of Starflight/Star Control except that you don't seem to participate with the other players at the same time. Any actions you perform in the game however affect the others in some way. You can join a public server or create a private game. Haven't delved too deeply into it but it's pretty fun. All planets and systems are generated on the fly and use tech simiilar to Spore when entering/leaving orbit. Your ship is basically your avatar. When docked at a city, it turns into more of a text adventure (and a fairly witty one at that). More of a pick an action and see how it plays out deal rather than a true Zork experience. Fairly simple and intuitive controls. Seems like a project with a future or at least one that will pave the way for bigger and better things.

To their credit, few MMOs realize the traditional spacefaring role of the Janitor.

I'm just guessing, but there's perhaps an intent to be humorous here. And maybe even a nod to SJG and Space Quest.

Nope, you see here at f13 we have a sekret forum that only special people can post in, where we nominate one person per month to totally make something up.  Then we see how many posts it can last before someone questions the veracity of the original post.  You caught this one pretty fast, I am disappointed.

Definately light hearted. The humor sits somewhere between Planetfall and Hitchhikers. Closer to Planetfall.

Are we even allowed to hold this anymore? I thought Haemish held the copyright on this one, unless he gave F13 a license or something to hold such an event.
