We know lots of things are broken but go ahead and post here when you find stuff that isn't working. schild is working on updating the old f13 theme to be compatible with the new version of the forum software.

Moderators may want to test out your l33t mod powers to see if those are still working (if you can't login talk to schild). If they aren't, post here and you can temporarily switch to a 1.1rc2 theme in your Profile -> Look and Layout preferences (at the top) and try it again.

Known Issues:

• The "New" button isn't working (well it works on a handful of topics but is otherwise broken)
• Avatar changing is broken in the f13 theme. Switch to another theme to change it. Instructions here (http://forums.f13.net/index.php?topic=7062.0).
• Dictionary needs to be updated

Mark as read now works as intended.

There are blue outline on the java pics (smileys and whatnot options when making a post) plus the "read" button in PM's seems to be missing the graphic.

Try loading up the smileys again.

Names are uncolored on the forums for us peasants, though Trippy was Orange down in the "users online" list.

Okay there's something funky with the new smiley display code (the forum was updated from 1.0.7 to 1.1) which is causing the borders of background images to show up in IE and Firefox though it looks fine in Opera. The read button graphic has mysteriously disappeared so that'll be borked for a bit until we find a substitute.

Not sure how that was handled in the old forums so I'll have to do some research on that.

The borders are also on the the "New" and "Last" images in the show unread page.  Think it just needs a border=0 statement in the img tag.  Stupid default browser behaviour.  I thought preview was broken because I had scrolled down and didn't notice that it now changs the preview table dynamically.

Clicking the checked box for "see first unread" message in a thread takes me to the beginning of the thread instead.

What are you clicking on to try and jump to the newest message in a thread? The little "L" to the far right on the unread listing or something else?

Okay that's going to have to stay messed up for a while. There's something wrong deep within the bowels of the template code.

The cookies are still fucked up, as I have 18 pages of "new replies to my posts". Not a fan of the boxes around the emoticons or "new", but that's just a gripe. I also miss seeing my name in blue, as I have a superiority complex. I like the white frontpage. It's shineh. So fresh and so clean clean.

That probably has something to do with the switch from forums.f13.net to www.f13.net/forums and/or the server/DNS change. If you still have the problem after you do a Mark as Read post again. The switch to the new server should've gotten rid of the cookie gremlins that were plaguing us before.

You can, BTW, switch the theme you are using now in your profile if you want to switch to one that isn't so broken (anything but the f13 one should work okay) while schild works on updating stuff. There are other themes at themes.simplemachines.org (http://themes.simplemachines.org/) that I can install if you see something you like. Make sure though it's 1.1 rc2 compatible.

Linked image borders removed. You may need to force a reload/clear your cache to pickup the updated stylesheet. I also swapped the smileys back to the ones we were using before.

Dont know if this will be helpful input, but Ive been on the site all day and havent had any problems...other than the weird color border around the smiles but that didnt really bother me.

Keeping track of read/unread posts ok, but the 'go to newest post' is broken for me, it's just going to the first post in the thread. Cleared cache, etc, already.

Well, I didn't post on this cause I figured it'd get fixed soon enough, but it seems like I'm the only one having this problem I guess.

Yeah I haven't actually bothered to figure out what is wrong, but for schild on IE7 and Firefox the site display correct, but on my computer, it does not.

We are on the same net connection and I've tried clearing my cache,  history, and cookies a bazillion times.  Haven't tried restarting yet though, too lazy as of yet.

The (http://forums.f13.net/Themes/f13/images/english/new.gif) button seems to be behaving somewhat.  The (http://forums.f13.net/Themes/f13/images/topic/veryhot_post-new.gif) button still does not.

The difference is the end part of the link.  The new button ends with ".msg<number>#new" while the check ends with ".from<number>#new".

Yeah as posts get updated and as you read them the data starts being more 1.0 compatible, for whatever reason (haven't bothered to dig through the code). I updated the check mark button to try and make it more similar to the New button (can't use the exact same code since some of the variables aren't in the same state in the different sections) so hopefully they'll behave consistently, at least.

Spellcheck works for me. IE6 in the hizzouse. Goddamn I can't wait til they upgrade to IE7 here at work. Tabbed browsing is practically necessary for call centers that have web based apps.

Not that it matters.  It's cleared up now.  It was a server at some point between the two of us.  The traceroute told me so.

This is probably 'working as intended', but it used to be that when you marked a section as read, it'd kick you back one menu to the main. It doesn't do that anymore. Is there a setting I can set somewhere to correct this?

That's how it's working with the 1.1 layouts so it's probably either working as intended or it's a bug in the 1.1rc2 code. The code for handling the redirect after a Mark as Read has changed quite a bit between 1.1rc2 and 1.0 so I wouldn't be surprised if something funky is going on in there.
