The PvP set?Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Jeff Kelly on May 18, 2006, 01:31:33 AM Well the mage one looks like ass. Instead of looking like a fucking subway train (Tier 2) the mage will be looking even more stupid :-(

HOOOR HOOTHOO HOOOORR GGRPH Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Chenghiz on May 18, 2006, 08:32:29 AM I think they need to go the fire direction at least once for mages. Hey, as a hunter I can cosplay as Eva 02 now!

It looks like ass on my rogue. I'm bitter I've spent 4 months colleting an 8 piece bloodfang set (of which I still need the chest) simply for the 8 set bonus heal, and it's given to us as the 2 set bonescythe bonus. Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Fabricated on May 18, 2006, 09:20:15 AM The Warrior set looks fucking awesome this time, and the Priest set isn't too shabby either. Cryptstalker looks marginally less retarded than Dragonstalker. Everything else? ehh.

HOOOR HOOTHOO HOOOORR GGRPH ROFL Now THAT made my day. So so true. Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Lantyssa on May 18, 2006, 09:45:37 AM I like the druid set. Not that it matters since I quit at 45 and even if I go back I have no desire to go on a raid.

There's smatterings of DPS plate in all the raid instances but you end up looking like a starburst factory exploded all over you. Fuckin' pink boots. Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Jayce on May 18, 2006, 02:14:47 PM I like the druid set. Not that it matters since I quit at 45 and even if I go back I have no desire to go on a raid. And you would have to go on way more than "a" raid to get within 10,000 miles of Tier 3.... Though there is always the dressing room. Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: SpaceDrake on May 18, 2006, 04:32:00 PM The Tier 3 Priest set is awesome. That's what epic Priest gear should look like.
Too bad I'd need to raidgrind through two fucking poorly designed dungeons to see it on a character. So the heck with that. Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Xanthippe on May 18, 2006, 05:27:08 PM The shoulders are still stupid. On all of them. Stupid stupid stupid.

Too bad I'd need to raidgrind through two fucking poorly designed dungeons to see it on a character. So the heck with that. Molten Core may be boring, but it does introduce the concept and class roles of raiding pretty well. Blackwing Lair, while annoying at times (suppression room), has a lot of really unique and fun boss fights without the trash-mob BS (for the most part). Title: Re: High level armor set database (includes Tier 3 sets) Post by: Sogrinaugh on May 19, 2006, 07:28:09 AM The shoulders are still stupid. On all of them. Stupid stupid stupid. Blizzard needs to give us the option of disabling our shoulder graphic just like helm/cloak.The teir 3 sets for warriors and healers are extremely "meh". Its not just that they are exclusively good for healing, its that the item budgets were simply spent poorly. Man, stuff you, I think those Priest shoulders whip arse. Hell, that entire set is what I originally envisioned Transcendence looking like. |
