Apparantly, there's more than meets the eye with those tree screenshots released earlier this week.

Just like pretty much everything else that was supposed to make Vanguard 'innovative and 3rd gen'.
It's going to have the fastest population crash post-launch of anything this side of NGE SWG, IMO.

No, there's plenty of innovation here, guys.  How many other MMOs have been daring enough to first give the finger to an entire slew of players (non-catasses) and then further define themselves by making the game less than satisfying to their target market?  Clearly they are making huge inroads in the 'population crash pre-launch' and 'how to blow more VC cash than David Allen or The Phantom' areas.

A big population drop requires a big population.  This one will start and end with a wimper.

I am Brad McQuaid! I am the messiah of MMO!

I think Brad M and David A should design a game TOGETHER, while working for Turbine and than have SOE publish it!
I think the universe would implode from the black hole of shit that would create.

So Gods and Heroes is going to suck because SOE is publishing it?

Interesting.

Not a bad idea.  It can have dainty fairies and ginormous dick-rocks.

Yes Brad will make the whole game a huge grind fest, where you kill trees.
While David will tell the press how its going to change the world!
