I don't know a thing about this game except that, if you're quick enough, you can get a closed beta invite from Fileplanet if you are subscribed.

There was a time when even the ugliest of games wouldn't drop below my radar. I do not wish to go back to that.

Is it ugly?  I hadn't even noticed.  Maybe I'll dl it and look.

However, someone appears to have placed WoW  screenshots on the web page instead of this game (which I initially misread as legend of arse, although you would have to be British to follow that really) so its difficult to judge.

Even johnny foreigners know what an arse is.

Edit:  I bet even Dick Van Dyke knows what an arse is!

The spelling sometimes confuses people.  Well, in my experience anyway.

Back to the game, some parts look like dungeon crawling in a neverwinter nights style, although I was being facetious about the screenshots before, to say they have taken inspiration for the graphical style from Blizzard is an understatement.

Dick van dyke would understand it, how he pronounced it would be anyones guess though  :-o

I have to say, I get more google returns from Arsenal Football than I do for arse... about twice as many.  ARS beats them all, however.  Probably because people would rather read about plants than look at some footballer's great white arse.

Hmmm..looked it over.

They stole their PvP from WoW.

They modified the guildwars price scheme, free game, you pay to get good items for your character. Sounds like a combination between Guildwars and the old EQ legends server.

The graphics look dated though semi-artistic.

A goat riding an even bigger goat holding a cane that contains ALL THE MAGICS. ALL of THE MAGICS. Not just some. Not just a little. ALL OF THEM. There's no magic in the game until someone gets level 95 and defeats the dreaded Bapomatt.

All joking aside, why don't these companies, like ya know, HIRE ENGLISH SPEAKING PEOPLES TO EDIT THEIR SHIT?

And the only think I can't stop doing is laughing.
It's more like an april fool than an actual mmo :)
I wonder if I should resist the urge of wiping it from my hard disk and see if there's actually something beyond the horrible look.

Ok, my review based on 7 seconds of actual gameplay.

It's like the baby son of the Mu Online graphic Dev joined the li'l daughter of the Ragnarok lead designer for their 5th grade mmo design project.

Swing and a miss.

I can't even get into the darn thing.  The "start" button doesn't work even though I'm using IE (blah) on their site.  I'm not fussed about it.   :-)

Yes, Signe. Took a while for me too to get it working.
First I had to disable any popup blocker. Then I had to let IE (Firefox didn't the trick) install some obscure activeX.
After that I had to re-log as it decided I wasn't logged in.
Then some pathces were (slowly) downloaded and applied.
Finally I was able to hit START GAME and.. oh.. back to log in webpage.
Rinse, repeat.. ERROR # (insert unknown asian characters).
Close the error dialog, select windowed mode from the options, and the *game* finally started.
It didn't last long, though.

That monster database is priceless.  I can't wait to try this.  Every time I get into a crappy MMO beta I have FilePlanet to thank for saving me from actually buying it.
