Title: 4/26/06 - Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny (PS2) Post by: schild on April 24, 2006, 03:29:38 AM Oh hell yea. The first one was fantastic. It's the sort of RPG that I wish came out 4-5 times a year instead of....one time a year. If that. Yea, it's a little bit too anime-ish, but it's one of the most solid series I've had the pleasure of playing.
I reviewed the original here (http://www.f13.net/reviews.php?subaction=showfull&id=1120794471&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2&). Now we have Grandia III for couple-time and it is actually pretty decent. I know you are on a Squenix boycott but I can start a thread on it if you want. Doubt anyone aside from me would be interested, though.
Interesting (to me) fact: I am playing two games with Crispin Freeman, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness (Hector) and Grandia III (whatsisname you find in the barrel). He voiced Delsus in the original Atelier Iris and seems to have worked his way into the Wendee Lee crowd. I think my wife is going to look for AI2 today. We'll see.
