Also it's not clear if you'll have to cough up for a FilePlanet subscription to download the software. I checked FP and didn't find any download available yet. Did SOE remove the AOL chat system and replace it with something else?

I believe SOE did change the chat system to be compatible with their other games (cross servers /tell for example) dont know if that constitues having removed the AOL one though...... The combat system is quite novel to start with, bullet time needs to be more frequent and last longer though, unfortunately soon the novelty of the combat system wears off and its as iritatingly clicky as SWG is now! I actually lost interest in MXO during the worthless tutorial but it looks like it opens up a EQ2 for 10 days as well so at least I can check that out again.
