Here's the deal : I'm NOT Racist. But when I phone a tech support line, I want someone who can speak English. It's just a little thing, but I think it's kinda important. When I want Support on running SMTP and VPN across an SDSL circuit, the last thing you need to bring that conversation to a screeching fucking halt is to find out that the muppet on the other end of the phone doesn't really get to grips with 'Good Morning, I'm phoning about one of your routers'. Seriously. I'm still seriously fucked off that I paid around £400 quid for these things and the chances of getting them to work are literally fuck all. Funny thing is, however, that at least as of about 6 months ago, 3com was using american tech support for their gigabit switches. Maybe that changed? I got stellar service from this nice grandma in Wisconsin who knew her Vlan configs like it was old hat to her.
