Title: Best April Fools sites Post by: raydeen on April 01, 2006, 10:43:54 AM So far Slashdot ( :heart:OMG! PONIES!!) and Homestarrunner are the funniest IMO. I'm sure there's more. YTMND is probably melting down right about now.

Oh, and in case you missed it (they actually posted it yesterday), Blizzard has announced the new Alliance race (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burningcrusade/townhall/wisps.html) and a new line of restaurants (http://www.blizzard.com/press/060401.shtml). Caydiem also "leaked" (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-priest&t=764467&p=1&tmp=1#post764467) the 1.11 patch notes. The funny thing about all this is that blizzard reps are responding to questions about all of these things in a serious manner. And you are correct, YTMND wins. Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: Samwise on April 01, 2006, 04:34:43 PM The "new" YTMND front page really makes me appreciate their own web design. I'd forgotten how shitty Ebaum's site layout is.

Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: schild on April 02, 2006, 12:11:57 AM Cartoon Network wins. They inserted farting and shitting noises into Fullmetal Alchemist. Perfect considering it was the first time I'd seen it on tv. It made it watchable.
Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: Llava on April 02, 2006, 12:47:58 AM I'm bringing my entire DVD collection to California.
(Disclaimer: My entire fullmetal alchemist DVD collection consists of 2 discs that were on clearance. But I still think it's a good show and schild's a nerd for not liking it.) Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: schild on April 02, 2006, 01:05:07 AM A nerd for Not Liking It? That's new. :P

Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: schild on April 02, 2006, 01:52:31 AM That's funny even if you aren't a web dev.

Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: Morfiend on April 03, 2006, 04:13:38 PM www.thinkgeek.com has some very "interesting" products up on their front page.
Title: Re: Best April Fools sites Post by: Samwise on April 03, 2006, 06:26:39 PM Damn you for reminding me that ThinkGeek exists. Every time I visit their site I end up buying something.
