Title: Astral Masters Post by: Tebonas on March 20, 2006, 12:17:02 PM Anybody remembers this little magic-inspired card game by Stardock? With the newest patch they included an online mode. Its adds quite something to the game if you don't have to beat up the inferior AI again and again. It even has a tournament mode where you don't have predefined decks but you must draw cards and have to build your deck from those cards.

Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: dusematic on April 11, 2006, 12:22:09 AM I only came here to make a sophomoric joke about the title, and all I got was this crummy T-shirt.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: Tebonas on April 11, 2006, 12:51:30 AM Must be a native speaker thing. I still don't get the problem with the title. And I pondered that longer than I played the game.

Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: Tebonas on April 11, 2006, 01:02:58 AM After the buildup that was somewhat...anticlimactic.
But thanks for putting my mind to rest. Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: HaemishM on April 11, 2006, 08:30:47 AM It really only works on that one level. The cockle level.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: dusematic on May 23, 2006, 10:44:08 AM ASS MATTERS! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: Righ on May 26, 2006, 01:10:10 AM Yes, and GalCiv, and all sorts of cheesy things to make Windows look like a Mac. Before people say that Object Desktop and its components can make Windows look like almost anything, I know. But everybody uses it to make Windows look like a Mac. Everybody. Even you. Don't deny it.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: stray on May 26, 2006, 01:16:06 AM I'll just use a real Mac instead. I'd rather use it to make a cheesy looking LCARS system.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: Yegolev on May 26, 2006, 02:11:54 PM Unpossible. I don't even know what a Mac looks like. Last one I saw had a monochrome monitor with the dimensions of a newspaper sheet. Yes, we got it from a newspaper. No, we didn't pay for it.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: schild on May 26, 2006, 08:30:45 PM My Windows machine has FlyAKiteOS running on it. All the shiny of a Mac, but you know, with fun. HAR HAR.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: Tebonas on May 27, 2006, 02:35:12 AM I kicked Flyakite off my Windows machine once the dock did not what it was supposed to do once too often. But I guess thats not a problem if you aren't used to Macs.
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: schild on May 27, 2006, 02:35:35 AM What is it supposed to do?
Title: Re: Astral Masters Post by: Tebonas on May 27, 2006, 07:41:00 AM Small shit really. For example Close an Application on the Mac with x (the red symbol) and it is still open in the dock. Do it on Flyakite and it is completely closed. I know thats how its working on a Windows machine, but Flyakite sometimes makes me forget that and your Internet Browser with 5 open Webpages goes the way of the dodo and you try to remember which 5 pages those were. Or that clicking on the browser button in the dock again opens another browser instance. Like I said, small shit that wouldn't bother me if I hadn't been annoyed by it once to often when I worked at autopliot at 3 in the morning.
