Title: Vegas Dev Chat Post by: Kail on March 16, 2006, 12:01:01 PM Didn't see this listed anywhere, but there's a lot of very interesting stuff being said on the EVE Dev Chat broadcast. A few things that jumped out at me: -Apparently they're going to implement victory conditions for wars, now, somehow, which promises to be interesting. -One of the devs claims that there's a secret entrance to Jove space somewhere in the north that nobody has found yet. Sounds like something interesting to hunt around for, though allegedly they haven't done anything with Jove space. Probably doesn't show up in the rightclick menu, so you'd have to drop a deep-space probe in every northern 0.0 system and compare the stargates found against the visible list. Ech. Not surprised people haven't found it. Anyway, I'm trying to find links to the devchat (it's three files, each an hour long), but I'm being defeated by the forces of evil. I've got the files on my hard drive, but I lack hosting. Could an F13 member step up to the plate, perhaps? And there was exactly zero of them. If there would be indeed a hidden gate, it's probably implemented purely in code.
