BIFF! 007 Craig loses two front teeth in first fight scene BASH! The baddie who whacked him was only a henchman 10 Bond FILMS THEY'LL HAVE TO RE-MAKE Licence to Drill Moon-acher Man With The Golden Gum Live And Let Fly Dr No Teeth Cry Another Day From Toothbrusher With Love Knock The Living Daylights A Chew To A Fill The Spy Who Shoved Me :nda: Title: Re: New Bond Post by: schild on February 19, 2006, 02:43:29 PM Ugliest Bond ever. You made up a lot of jokes about the titles of Bond movies there when you could have just made a clever Richard Kiel reference...
(http://www.hollywoodcultmovies.com/assets/images/RichardKiel1.jpg) Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Murgos on February 19, 2006, 08:03:38 PM They are actually quotes from the article.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: schild on February 19, 2006, 08:05:03 PM Wow, that makes it really bad. Still, Richard Kiel.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: SurfD on February 20, 2006, 03:27:18 PM The dude in the picture in that article looks NOTHING like anything I could possibly CONCIEVE of playing 007.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Yegolev on February 21, 2006, 10:03:13 AM Time to subscribe to the Sunday Mirror. I'm tired of this shitty American journalism.
Also: looks nothing like Bond. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Strazos on February 21, 2006, 11:24:35 AM He looks like the geeky techy character, not Bond.
wtf Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Lemming on February 21, 2006, 07:16:40 PM He looks like he'd rip out your spines for talking shit.
Edit: Ok, maybe he wouldn't kick your ass, but I don't see why he has to look like Connery, Moore, Dalton or any of the others. I also don't care for 007 movies, so take that how you will. More Kiel. (http://members.cox.net/jmcalpin1/kielhappy.jpg) Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Merusk on February 22, 2006, 05:11:35 AM Because the joke hasn't been made yet.
Bond, Dental Bond. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Lantyssa on February 22, 2006, 07:58:32 AM Wow! He bent a golf club with his bare hands. A real pro wraps it three times around a tree.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: HaemishM on February 22, 2006, 09:08:58 AM Daniel Craig is a good actor, and a lot closer to the Ian Fleming Bond than any of the movies have been.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Yegolev on February 22, 2006, 10:05:14 AM Daniel Craig is a good actor, and a lot closer to the Ian Fleming Bond than any of the movies have been. This is what my wife says about Timothy Dalton, right before she says "He sucks." Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Mr_PeaCH on February 22, 2006, 11:20:02 AM Daniel Craig is a good actor, and a lot closer to the Ian Fleming Bond than any of the movies have been. What, did you start channelling Sean Penn there all of the sudden? Title: Re: New Bond Post by: HaemishM on February 22, 2006, 11:40:59 AM Read the books. The book Bond is night and day difference from the movie Bond. Not that I have any problem with the movie Bond, but you know, Bond fans need to STFU quickly. Brosnan was in Die Another Day. I liked him as Bond, but if the Broccoli crew are going to keep shitting out crappy ass Halle Berry vehicles, and Bond fans keep buying it, they need to go into the same gas chamber we put Star Wars fanbois.
And I really like Craig in Layer Cake. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: schild on February 22, 2006, 11:54:45 AM I'm a fan of the movie Bonds. Specifically the Sean Connery Bonds. Not the shitty shitty Ian Fleming Bonds. It should have been Clive Owen. Not this homely fucker.

It should have been Clive Owen. Not this homely fucker. Clive Owen would rock. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Furiously on February 22, 2006, 01:26:18 PM You know who would make a perfect bond?
Rowan Atkinson (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000100/) not doing comedy. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: HaemishM on February 22, 2006, 01:31:51 PM You know who would make a perfect bond? Rowan Atkinson (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000100/) not doing comedy. Johnny English was pretty funny. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Signe on February 22, 2006, 01:58:12 PM You know who would make a perfect bond? Rowan Atkinson (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000100/) not doing comedy. He was actually on a list some Brit newpaper published or something. Everyone want Clive Owens, who is dreamy, but I wonder if he'd want it. He seems to be on a bit of a fast track lately, no? Title: Re: New Bond Post by: schild on February 22, 2006, 01:59:47 PM Our friend Clive is gobbling knob for awards (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0654110/).
I also find it PECULIAR that he's in "Inside Man" and then "The Children of Men." Are they related? Is it as homoerotic as it sounds? Huh? Title: Re: New Bond Post by: ahoythematey on February 23, 2006, 12:58:25 PM Clive Owen was sort of James Bond in The Pink Panther.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: WayAbvPar on February 23, 2006, 01:00:53 PM You know who would make a perfect bond? Rowan Atkinson (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000100/) not doing comedy. That is a terrible idea- that is like Hugh Laurie doing drama in an American accent, for christ's sake! No one would watch that... Title: Re: New Bond Post by: schild on February 23, 2006, 01:08:14 PM Rowan Atkinson is an ugly bastard. Hugh Laurie isn't. It's not a fair comparison. You see that last episode of House? Even with that leg wound, House exudes more manliness than Rown Atkinson would carrying a spear and necklace of shrunken heads.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Paelos on February 23, 2006, 01:18:15 PM Rowan Atkinson is an ugly bastard. Hugh Laurie isn't. It's not a fair comparison. You see that last episode of House? Even with that leg wound, House exudes more manliness than Rown Atkinson would carrying a spear and necklace of shrunken heads. I found that last episode highly disturbing. The whole dude looks like a lady thing was an odd way to go. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Lantyssa on February 23, 2006, 02:21:15 PM I found that last episode highly disturbing. Yet from everyone I have heard talk about the show, that part disturbed them more than a 15 year old strung out on heroin or incest...The incest part is coupled in what made it even worse. The fact that she PROMOTED the incest herself was way out there. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: schild on February 23, 2006, 06:42:43 PM He was hot. Because it was a role she was playing. If they want to call her a he, I'm not one to argue with semantics. OR BOOBIES.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: HaemishM on February 24, 2006, 08:44:39 AM Rowan Atkinson is an ugly bastard. Hugh Laurie isn't. It's not a fair comparison. You see that last episode of House? Even with that leg wound, House exudes more manliness than Rown Atkinson would carrying a spear and necklace of shrunken heads. I disagree. Rowan Atkinson in season 2 of Black Adder with the black goatee was not so bad looking. He still had the nose to contend with, but something about that season, the cut of his beard or something made him not quite so hideous. That's also my favorite season because it's the funniest. I still think Craig will be a fine Bond, it's just that he'll be stuck in yet another shitty ass Bond movie, that will be badly written, too coy for its own good, and follow a formula that has been done to death, reincarnated, killed again then fucked in the ass for good measure. There hasn't been a good Bond movie since the one with Michelle Yeaoh. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Murgos on February 24, 2006, 10:41:27 AM Isn't, whats his name, Reservoir Dogs guy directing this iteration of Bond?
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Ironwood on February 24, 2006, 11:16:44 AM Actually, H, I gotta disagree. I think, particularly given the casting choice which IS unusual no matter how you slice, that they're going for the same 'Batman Begins' reboot.
I think it might have a chance of being fab. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: HaemishM on February 24, 2006, 11:27:46 AM If the Broccoli people DO reboot the series, without actually saying it, I'll be shocked. In awe even.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Ironwood on February 24, 2006, 11:43:53 AM Look at the evidence. Totally new Bond, in all senses of the word, and doing Casino Royale, which is as Back to Basics as you get.
Hope is the delusion here. Don't spoil it for me. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: HaemishM on February 24, 2006, 11:45:18 AM Your hope is my nerd patee.

I thought it was the 3rd. And I agree - with a Goatee he looks decent. Then again I'm sure he makes himself look as odd as possible playing Mr. Bean. Title: Re: New Bond Post by: ahoythematey on February 24, 2006, 04:28:33 PM Martin Campbell, who also directed GoldenEye and the two new Zorro movies, is doing Casino Royale. Methinks it has good chances of being good, Craig was quite good in Layer Cake.
Title: Re: New Bond Post by: Strazos on February 27, 2006, 11:42:42 AM Hey, I actually liked Goldeneye.
Sounds good. Better than The World Is Not Enough with Denise Richards as Dr. Christmas Jones. "I thought Christmas only comes once a year...?" Give me a fucking break. |
