I've seen peaks at around 25k so I'm not surprised at this number, it's right where I would have put them if I had to guess. They also usually show about 1300 free trial accounts active at peak. I'll bet that they have more subscribers than Asheron's Call and SWG. And they're closing in on UO.

This is not a game for everyone by any stretch of the imagination but it is a very good game. Also you have to respect their stance on expansions they have added so much to the game at no charge and I salute them.
