Since leaving Turbine in 2000, he's been doing various side projects. One of them is an online strategy game designed to pay for itself through RMT rather than subscription. Apparently he's doing well enough to rate a profile in the Wall Street Journal (http://www.startupjournal.com/columnists/extrabucks/20060119-grocer.html?mod=wsj.com) (which somehow overlooked his previous experience as a professional online game developer).
