Title: DS Import Games
Post by: Shockeye on January 20, 2006, 10:22:47 AM
Can a US DS play Japanese imports?

The reason I ask is this: I was at Fry's Electronics this morning and they had an import Japanese DS game that was billiards. It looked interesting and I'm wondering if I can play it and if I can, if it's any good with the touch screen.

99.88% sure that is yes.  Not tested, though.

I would assume since Fry's was selling an import game (they had like 5 copies), a regular DS must be able to play it.

Yes, every portable released to date is region free when it comes to games.

Ok, so the next question is this:

Does anyone know anything good or bad about The Billiards for the DS in Japan?

The cue is very short, and there is a lot of extra felt on the table.

Also, Guru Guru Nagetto is 2D mini-golf.

I guess that has nothing to do with billiards.
