Title: Mp3/Ogg Players Post by: schild on January 17, 2006, 02:43:38 PM I'm looking for something totally non-invasive that's clean and elegant when open but when it's closed it sits in the little dashboard area near the clock and I can right click on it to control it. Does such a thing exist?
Things that don't work: WMP, Winamp, iTunes. Title: Re: Mp3/Ogg Players Post by: TheTijuanaBrass on January 17, 2006, 02:52:33 PM You want foobar2000 (http://www.foobar2000.org/). Great media player.

Title: Re: Mp3/Ogg Players Post by: Viin on January 17, 2006, 03:42:56 PM Actually not bad. Except you can't change the volume?
Edit: Oh wait, +/- will change it. And I found out how to get it to minamize to the tray with a popup for songs. Woot. Now only to find a tie-in to the shoutcast station list ... Also, speaker controls. Title: Re: Mp3/Ogg Players Post by: Viin on January 17, 2006, 03:59:31 PM Except I don't want to change the volume of my 'new im notification' sounds, just the music. :-P
Title: Re: Mp3/Ogg Players Post by: TheTijuanaBrass on January 17, 2006, 04:11:22 PM I find that Global Ctrl + Up/Down arrow for volume control is . Especially when playing a fullscreen game.
Title: Re: Mp3/Ogg Players Post by: Viin on January 17, 2006, 04:21:50 PM Ah hey! I didn't even know you could do that until you said it. I've added global hotkeys for volumn and pause, which will come in very handy. Cool beans.
