Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Righ on January 14, 2006, 08:25:54 PM Bye bye Brady, Brady goodbye.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: El Gallo on January 14, 2006, 11:31:15 PM Super Bowl is tomorrow at 1 now.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: HaemishM on January 14, 2006, 11:46:24 PM That first Denver touchdown was a fucking gift. Lelie was all over Samuel, but the refs flagged the Pats and not Denver. A total fucking gift.
Of course, Denver kept getting gifts on kick and punt returns. Between this game and the Seahawks game, I've never seen so many goddamn fumbled punts. The Pats have no excuses; at least it was raining assbuckets in Seattle. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: MrHat on January 15, 2006, 06:29:38 AM Yup, the broncos didn't win, the Pats lost.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Righ on January 15, 2006, 11:15:11 AM Much like the curent game. Colts sucked until two minutes ago. At least they have enough time to sort things out.

What an ending. Steelers are going to Denver. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: MrHat on January 15, 2006, 01:29:00 PM Craziness.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Zetleft on January 15, 2006, 02:08:06 PM Yup, the broncos didn't win, the Pats lost. I love hearing that excuse... of course as a Cowboys fan I admit to being guilty of it myself. The broncos were the better team that day and that's all that matters. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Viin on January 15, 2006, 06:24:57 PM You mean the Broncos won? Ahh crap. Now it's going to be all crazy and silly around here. :-(
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: MrHat on January 15, 2006, 07:22:45 PM You mean the Broncos won? Ahh crap. Now it's going to be all crazy and silly around here. :-( Pitts in Denver next weekend. Wish I had tickets. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Llava on January 15, 2006, 11:00:06 PM I'm glad that, when I wrote "The Denver Broncos have a real shot at the Super Bowl" for those dumb sports articles I had to do, I wasn't completely full of shit.
Of course, turns out I was full of shit for all the rest of the teams, for whom I also wrote that, but hey. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Same here. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: UD_Delt on January 19, 2006, 08:32:29 AM This is the worst AFC championship game EVER!
Coming from a Cleveland fan of course. I hate Denver and I hate pittsburgh. I wish there was a way for both teams to lose. I do think I may hate pittsburgh slightly more than Denver though so I guess I want Denver to win. Although I really hope it is in embarrasing fashion as the Indy win would have been over pittsburgh. I hope the win is based on poor officiating or the liike which is a definate possiblity from what we've seen in the playoffs so far. I'm pretty sure everyone in the world agreed Polamalu had an interception except for the one guy who's opinion was the only one that mattered. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Hoax on January 19, 2006, 09:40:34 AM I hope big ben (who I do like mind you) has his leg ripped off at the knee. Like completely fucking severed, perhaps even both of them.
Fuck the Steelers... I dont really like the Broncos but I think Shanahan(sp?) is awesome, one of my favorite coaches. I still haven't seen the Seahawks play, I wonder what will happen versus Carolina. I mean Delhomme looked marvelous in much of the Chicago game and the last time I watched the Seahawks play when they weren't beating the shit out of the 49ers was that terrible wild card game last year. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: HaemishM on January 19, 2006, 09:47:22 AM The Seahawks are an ASSTON better than they were in that Rams wild card game last year.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: MrHat on January 22, 2006, 08:44:05 AM Go Broncos!
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Abagadro on January 22, 2006, 01:40:04 PM Not looking too good at half: 24-3.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Righ on January 22, 2006, 01:44:16 PM Pittsburg have been very impressive. Roethlisberger is doing a fine job in particular.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: MrHat on January 22, 2006, 03:29:42 PM I hate Plummer.
Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: El Gallo on January 22, 2006, 07:39:15 PM WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
SADF /JIZZ Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Shockeye on January 22, 2006, 07:45:25 PM I hate Plummer. He couldn't hack it in AZ, what made you think he could do it in Denver? What the fuck was up with that playcalling? What was it, 4th and 10 at Denver's own 20 and they go for it with plenty of time left? WTF? Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: MrHat on January 22, 2006, 08:57:48 PM should've fired shanahan when he traded for plummer.

Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Righ on January 24, 2006, 11:50:27 AM It was a bit dumb of the teacher to (allegedly) do this in an exam, but its not unfamiliar stuff to me. If you weren't on the receiving end of this kind of crap at least once when at school, you were too sheep-like to either stand out or get in trouble or your teachers were big girls' blouses. For some crap I pulled (don't recall what) I had to stand on my desk on my left foot and say "hot, dry summers", stand on my right foot and say "warm, wet winters" and then hold out my arms, jump up and say "short, sharp showers". Nobody in that class forgot what the mediterranean climate was like. Another guy had to stand in the trash can in the corner after failing to prepare for class because "he was rubbish". Even the class swots would get similar treatment sometimes, just to put them in their place. So it went in many of our classes, provided the teacher had balls.
But hey, this is another time and place, best if he claims he's scarred and traumatised for life, and one of a few million lawyers will help him profit. Then we can suspend the teacher and replace him for a while with some wet temp who can't control a class and who doesn't understand discipline or character building. Ought to send this guy to military school for being such a pussy. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Paelos on January 24, 2006, 01:42:38 PM OMG, he had to sit on the floor! Civil rights violations!
Mother's gonna keep baby nice and warm. Title: Re: Go Broncos! Post by: Sachant on January 24, 2006, 05:27:50 PM http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/football/nfl/01/24/jersey.lesson.ap/index.html Something like that (kid wearing another jersey) in Pittsburgh back when I was a kid wouldn't have ever happened. The fact it happens at all in Pittsburgh is still remarkable it's such a Steeler town. Oh and to all you Steeler haters.... SUCK IT. ;) My Steelers won and are going to the bowl. I just hope Bettis gets the ring he has been working so hard for and same with Cowher. The whole team has worked their asses off for this and been playing exceptionally well. I was just surprised that Denver fell apart so badly and I feel sort of bad for Plummer because I know the fans aren't going to be the least bit forgiving of him. Lord knows O'Donnell got out of Pittsburgh as fast as he could after he threw his interceptions that cost the Steelers the game. Big Ben has been looking confident and calm even under pressure. I predicted last year that last year wasn't the year for us to go and this would be the one. I was right. While I commiserate and think the Seahawks winning a bowl would be great, I have to dissapoint them and tell them they would be better off doing it next year. Oh yeah.. We hate you Browns fans too. ;) <3 |
