TubeTwist is the latest from 21-6, makers of Orbz (http://www.orbzonline.com/), which is also a downloadable game for the original XBox Live Arcade. (I'd been hoping to actually finish the game first but it's taking me forever.)

(I'd been hoping to actually finish the game first but it's taking me forever.) Out of curiosity, when did you grab the download (I know you had advance "preview" access, which is why I ask)...I know that they made some gameplay changes in the November/early December timeframe based on feedback from IGC and their beta community. PS: Thanks for the mod thread move, I had forgotten about this section! Title: Re: 1/12/06 - Tubetwist (PC) Post by: Samwise on January 12, 2006, 06:37:13 PM It might well be a stale version. I'll see if I can upgrade to the newer build...

Title: Re: 1/12/06 - Tubetwist (PC) Post by: Trippy on April 10, 2006, 04:18:08 PM I've only played the demo but the two things I didn't like were that there wasn't enough of a "Rube Goldbergesqe" feel to the machines -- it was like a simplified version of The Incredible Machines, though that might be a limitation of the demo since not all the building pieces were available -- and that there is no sandbox mode and therefore also no way to create and submit user generated puzzles. I understand they want to be able to release expansion packs and stuff but the replayability of the game takes a big hit without that.
