Title: Lost in Blue - NDS
Post by: voodoolily on December 28, 2005, 01:01:42 PM
Call me crazy, but I actually like a good point-and-click. And no, that wasn't meant to be in green text. Picked this up too, if anyone's playing/played it holla.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THIS FORUM IS FOR ME!

Oh and Lost in Blue isn't point and click. It's a crafting game. Trace Memory is point and click.

But but but I thought you were doing the new thing of starting an individual thread for each game so that if (when) a review is written it gets stuck in said thread.

This game is SO MUCH FUN. I can't explain it. All the fun of crafting and loot, without the annoying MMOG and 15 yr. old Korean griefers. I'm just to the part where I've built the raft and crossed the lake, to discover a new cave and a lava tube trail. I'm so excited. The problem is, I've already invested so many resources in my other cave, building beds, a table and chairs, and upgrading my shelf (it holds 20 items now!). I have a huge stockpile of firewood, bamboo, traps, vines and rope, and an oil drum full of water. How could I leave that all behind?

The game is surprisingly deep and non-linear. I love it. I think I have 30-something hours in it and I still have a long way to go to get off the island. Hell, I might just stick it out and stay here for a year instead of escaping. Hunting and fishing is fun. It's like Oregon Trail for the Year 2000.

I went with smarmy because the game sounds cool but it's for the DS, which I don't have.
