Title: Impressive russian painters
Post by: Sairon on December 01, 2005, 05:14:44 PM
So I came across this little page http://flashcards.territory.ru/vec, basicly it's like http://artpad.art.com/ but with some more tools and for russians. Some impressive stuff I've found so far:

http://flashcards.territory.ru/vec/v.php?i=037245
http://flashcards.territory.ru/vec/v.php?i=027458
http://flashcards.territory.ru/vec/v.php?i=029483
http://flashcards.territory.ru/vec/v.php?i=004929
http://flashcards.territory.ru/vec/v.php?i=001787

I've always wanted to be good at painting but suck so hard at it

Can't compete with those guys, but here's my lil' dickering around with Artpad. Gonna have to try this with my Wacom.

What's sad is that you think that's not too great, but it's certainly not something I could do. Probably the same for a lot of other people.

And Samwise's was real annoying to watch until I figured out what he was doing with it. Kinda funny.

For best results make sure the playback slider is on extra-fast mode.  Watching drawings in realtime is boring.

Well, I appreciate the compliment. I've been working on my style for nearly 20 years now. I've always loved anime, but I've always wanted to make my own mark. My problem is, my stuff is too slap-dash. I just don't have the time or patience to do really great art. I used to when I was in school, but wife/kid/job/mmogs take all my time and energy.

And Sam's was great. I love recursive stuff. :)
