Title: digitizing tablets? Post by: Pococurante on November 23, 2005, 05:24:41 AM Anyone used one they like a lot? Have an overall opinion on the current tech? I'm tempted - my desk has so many random post-its it looks like Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty.
I got a promotional from mwave that included this product (http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch.hmx?SCriteria=AA39860&CartID=done&nextloc=); the TabletPCs intrigue me but I still find them bulky. Title: Re: digitizing tablets? Post by: Hanzii on November 23, 2005, 03:22:47 PM I haven't tried that one, but if you want something you can use away from the pc, then I can recommend the Oxford Digital Paper box containing the Nokia SU-something pen. Works great and also communicates with a Bluetooth phone. The Logitech IO2 pen is cheaper uses the older version of the same software (Denos), which is better in some ways, but don't have Bluetooth.
If you want to do art (Painter, Photoshop, Illustrator) as well, then nothing beats Wacom Intous 3. Title: Re: digitizing tablets? Post by: Pococurante on November 30, 2005, 02:33:15 PM Sorry for the late followup Hanzii - thanks for the pointer!
