so what's the dealie with CoV?  I thought people were high on NCSoft -- was it the recent "balancing" (nerf) I heard of?  Wasn't that needed in anticipation of arena PvP?

I still like CoH.  CoV is okay, too.  I didn't much care for the ED thingy, but it's still a nice diversion every now and then. I have no idea how CoV plays beyond level 14, however, so I'll probably give it a go.  They have such a nice team of people at Cryptic, too, I think... although there seems to be a lot of Statesman hate lately.  I think NCsoft is pretty good at what they do.  As for Lineage2... eek.  That game scares me to death.

Anyone who can manage to make Fast Cars!!!  WITH GUNS THAT BLOW THINGS UP.  Completely un-fun, should be taken out back and shot...

Well, it sort of makes sense, Hoax, in that it's obvious you don't like Auto Assult.  I was invited to the beta but I never played it, but I hear mostly bitching about it so I'm not really interested in starting.  Of course, Cryptic has nothing to do with this and NCsoft is just the publisher so they didn't make it suck either.  I don't have any Auto Assult thingys to give away, which is good because you would probably just shout bad words at me or sommat.

You guys will have to excuse my sparse and seemingly random posting behavior..........it will continue for several more weeks.  I've been working two jobs, from 9am to midnight which makes for looooong hours.  So if I'm not working, I'm more than likely delirious and not making much sense most of the time, so I've decided to try and not advertise this state of mind to the general public, but I'm sure that occasionally, my fingers will get the best of me.....(like now)....and it will all come rambling out.  *inhale*

AutoAssault is Netdevil who made Jumpgate. They are still trying to prove they have any clue at all.

I said it before, but AutoAssault could possibly be enjoyable to anyone who plays only mmo's.

AA is the next E&B.

AA just isn't my sort of game, really.  I'd love to see some MMOs that are really different from what's out there.  CoH is about the only one with a completely different twist, but there isn't enough to do to make it my primary MMO.  I'd love to see a steampunk or sci fi western or some of the other ideas we've mentioned here from time to time.  We have EQ, EVE and CoH, really... just different shades of them and no one seems really interested in changing that.
