SA fell off my 'taste' meter a long time ago. At one point I almost joined the forums as they are no doubt good, but I just can't cope with the rest of it anymore.

I had an account there long ago, I got bored and stopped posting. I remember checking to see if it was still there a couple years ago. It wasn't.

Not much of a loss really.

I hyave an account.  It is for current events and the occasional nugget of advice.  Seriously.  SA Goons have everyone beat on current events.

Dunno, Shockeye beats all my news channels. Seriously. It takes like 2 days for stuff he posts to hit here.

I only got an account at SA because I love the articles and other features so much that I felt guilty about it being free.  It was very boring at work here for a while and so I just went through the front page archives day by day trying to contain my laughter.  That mini novel Zack wrote was really good too, and the ICQ pranks.

I don't really like the forums, way too much noise.  Someone posts and there are eleven replies within the first minute, they can't be very good.  They ban people who reply with only "lol" but most of the posts are really just that only with more words.  For example I just clicked on the first thread in the main forum, it starts with an interesting post about some guy's motorcycle trip but the next forty posts are either one line "Nice pictures", or "I wish I could do that".

The only time I would ever post is if I had a very specific question that I needed answering.  I'll read the goldmine thread but that's about it.  I also go through the leper colony to see who got banned and for what, I find it funny.

Don't read the text or stray from the funny pictures.

I've been off the useless news wagon for awhile now. I spose I should giddyup again.
