Title: Sterio with Audio Delay
Post by: Hokers on October 12, 2005, 02:47:40 PM

Does this feature exist?  Could it exist?

Since I happen to dislike a lot of the TV sports announcers I often listen to the radio announcers and have the TV on mute.  This works fine when the two are in relitave synch but not all are the audio is often ahead of the TV, and on HD channels is much worse.

I would love to be able to set a delay on my radio to synch them up.  Does anyone make a tuner that does this?

Route your audio through your computer, it's extremely easy then. Just ask Lum to help you set up a PVR.

Another option would be to record both the video and audio, and then synch them up to replay, ala DSotM and tWoO.

Thanks, I will look into what I can do with directing the audio through the computer since I have a laptop in the same cabnet already.

Too bad audio travels through cables at the speed of light and not sound, could have gotten really really long cables.

In the end I got a Radioshark which is a USB radio with time-shiftng abilities.  Worked fairly well after I updated the software.

All set for the series now.  Go SOX.
