Such incidents are common in rural India, where cheap, homemade brew is sometimes mixed with methyl alcohol, which can cause blindness or death. Ahh, what a difference a single carbon atom makes. Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) is what gets you drunk. But you can't just drink it out of the fucking chem labs, shit-fer-brains!
