Title: Goonworld
Post by: Signe on August 26, 2005, 04:20:07 PM
http://www.nemesisstudios.com/

Gory cartoon mafia game with a Mature rating.  Their business director is wandering around the intarwebs asking people for feedback... athough there isn't very much to feed back to him.  I think he wants to know what people think of the initial idea.

I think the picture on the website is cute.

I'd ask how you find this shit, but I don't want to know. We should start a Useless Games forum.

I didn't even know it was a game at first.  I thought it was some sort of contraption to aid in making games.  Then I thought it was a frog on a bicycle.

I don't know what the hell it is.

They do have a link on that page to 'truevision3d', which IS a contraption to aid in making games.

They're trying to attract attention before they even have a website for the game?  Wow.  Heck, the company website is only a single page with a legal blurb and an email link.

Wow.

NSE was designed to provide a learning experience for inspired programmers, artists, writers and musicians from all over the world and we strive to deliver a cutting edge electronic entertainment experience using the latest technology available to us.

Learning experiences result in shit. It's like making a birdhouse for the first time, but instead of using wood glue you use grape jelly.

A learning experience? Yes, I want to pay a subscription fee so some Jolt-cola fueled programmer can learn how to write netcode.

As someone making a mafia game, the CEO will no the meaning of an offer that can be refused.
