He was laughing out loud at March of the Penguins? Um, having seen it, it's not that funny. And I call BS on the mother who says he wasn't laughing louder than the other children. If he was laughing at the wrong parts or constantly, it would be freaking annoying to others watching the movie.

I love it when I am in the theatre and laughing at parts of the movie and when no one else is.  I guess it appeals to the elitist in me.

Sounds like a pimple on a power trip to me. I would be willing to bet that the theatre was crammed full of kids doing what kids do best (make noise and run about underfoot). Unless this kid was doing laps in his wheelchair and screaming, I doubt he was any more of a distraction than the rest of the rugrats.

I'm betting on the theater worker just being a douchebag, based on his statement to the parents that they could stay, but the 7-YEAR OLD DISABLED KID had to leave. Thanks, cockmonkey, we'll just go velcro the retard to the inside of our van and let him swelter to death in 50 bazillion degree heat.

It was in the northeast, so it would have only been 12 bazillion degrees.

Some retard drooling and cooing through an entire movie would be just as annoying as some baby screaming though the entire thing. Parents of ANY kids need to be respectful of others' inability to cope with the noise their progeny produces, and the right to enjoy their overpriced, only mildly entertaining film. Seriously. Noisy babies/retards/dogs/squirrels make me stabby.

The asslick that worked the theater should've kicked the whole family out. That'll learn 'em.

I'll give the parents some credit, it was a movie in the middle of the day, and it was rated G. That is the primetime for annoying children, and as such you have no right to bitch as a patron. You can see a movie at 10PM, and if there are kids under 12 there, AND it's rated R, the parents should be dragged out into the street and coated in popcorn butter.

Man, this is like that issue that came up with people who require oxygen tanks.

On one hand, they have the right to attend live events like orchestras, opera, performance art, right?

But what about all the people who end up next to a person with a noisy oxygen tank? It's a god-awfully annoying and disruptive element for performances that require quiet.
