Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: Sobelius on September 01, 2005, 06:34:34 AM Sigh. For some folks if it isn't 12 inches long and 3 inches thick they aren't interested. We usually refer to such folks as size queens. It's not like he's sporting a stiff vienna sausage or cocktail weenie. It looks perfectly "regular size" and with a little imagination, aroused it would certainly be a mouthful.
But at times like these, with a major US city undergoing catastrophic collapse, and coastal communities wiped out tsunami-style, there really are more important things on which to devote mind share. I popped over to the UK's daily mail (http://www.dailymail.co.uk) (usually because I like to do their Su Doku puzzles) and wanted to see how a non-US paper was covering things. Their front page story yesterday was that "posh" spice didn't finish reading to the end of books. Today, Madonna's broken arm and fashion-trend setting arm sling had to take second place to Katrina news (though someone told me not to be surprised since the Daily Mail is not known as a bastion of serious news). Anyway -- appreciate the sausage link (hehe -- I said "link" -- hehe) Shockeye -- I suspect in the months ahead I'll be glad for moments of levity amid the grim widespread reality of what Katrina has done. Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: Signe on September 01, 2005, 09:51:33 AM You're definitely looking at the wrong paper. Try The Times, The Independant, and The Guardian... you should be able to find one that suits your political persuasion there, too. Keep away from The Sun, The Sport and The News of the World... unless you like boobies, aliens and/or alien boobies.
Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: jinxer on September 01, 2005, 11:41:13 AM Alien boobies.....hehe. Now that sounds interesting.

But it's hard, as a guy, to defend another guy when people are looking at his dick and calling it small. Adam Carolla was talking about that on his show, recently. "People are like, 'He's so small!' I'm like, 'What do you mean sm.. I mean yeah! Wow! We should give the man some charity. If he is, in fact, a man!' But thing is, this was taken at his mom's house. I'd say that pretty good. I can't get near that size at my mom's house. My mom phones and a few inches fall off." Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: Merusk on September 02, 2005, 09:31:25 AM Sigh. Sobelius probably stands on better ground to defind a guy as another guy.. having more interest and experience in the topic than the rest of us. Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: Llava on September 03, 2005, 04:50:48 AM Yeah, that's why I cut out the obviously gay stuff like thinking it would be "quite the mouthful". Though I probably should have cut out the "size queens" part as well, as I was, until reading that, unaware of that particular epithet.
Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: Sobelius on September 03, 2005, 06:37:11 AM I like to throw in the occasional queer references just to make sure I fufill this board's infrequent need for more homo. Here are my straightforward (ahem) thoughts:
<soapbox> Men have penises. There's nothing wrong with having a penis. They come in all kinds of sizes, colors and cuts and most look pretty much like Mr. Law's when not erect. Penis size is not, and never will be, the true measure of a man. The depth and breadth of his compassion, courage, generosity, kindness, and empathy is. But these can't be measured by whipping out a ruler -- they take a lifetime to measure. And the real beauty lies in the fact that it doesn't matter how much of these qualities a man has -- it just matters that he has them. Obviously, women have these qualities as well -- which makes me believe gender really doesn't matter when it comes to the most important things in life. </soapbox> Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: schild on September 03, 2005, 02:36:59 PM I was going to make a joke about your avatar stealing your nuts, but I leave that kind of amazing comedy to the thinktank over at Disney.
Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... Post by: Llava on September 03, 2005, 04:51:50 PM The character pictured in my avatar is the best thing about his franchise. Just a close-up on his face is hilarious. The actual movie struck me as average at best. But this guy is fucking genius.

They are a tad shy of the amount needed to balance out your wonderfully non-homophobic-yet-beautifully-masculine-ultra-hetero-Haemish posts. Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius.... I could be wrong. They might call him "He Who Trains Snow Beast." But I think it's the former. Title: Re: To keep my promise to Sobelius....
