Playing single players games for the moment. Replaying and hopefully finishing RE4 this time and dabbling around in Morrowind.

And like none of you are my level, so it's not a big deal if I'm really in or not.

I'm still playing, almost 26 now, but I haven't played much this week on account of getting sick. Got on last night to find out RWS was gone. Who is Shining Force?

That's the new guild, some people higher up, you know who you are  :heartbreak:, decided they didn't have enough people to group with.  So we switched over, who am I to complain.

I joined yesterday and soloed my way almost to 27. Did the Stockades run with a group of 4 or 5 random douchebags, one of whom was a lewt whore paladin, level 32, who rolled on everything, including a nice set of leather pants that would have been perfect for me. Oh, and he won them. Prick.

I'm playing, but not on your server.  I'm leveling 3 chars evenly trying to experience as much content as possible.  I'm pretty much completely solo.

I'm going to be splitting my time with a resub to SB though.  I'm preparing for a new run at it with a big guild when the new lore based server comes online.  I've been wanting to try out the last few expansions and this new server seemed like a good time to jump back in and try the waters.

I figure it will give me something to bitch about for the next couple of months.  I'll still keep going on WoW though.  I certainly am not going to be satisfied with SB's PvE.

Give us a review when you get going.  I hella want to play that again, but I'm frightened.

I've been playing with a bunch of folks from my workplace. Alliance, Spinebreaker server. I don't think anyone from around here plays on that server, but if you do, give a /wave if you see Grignr, dwarven asshole. And tank, on the side.

I'm going back to SB/Lore Sever too....For a look at least. No guild though..

Yea, me too.  Different server.  On my main, I was the only member of my guild who'd been on in the last three months, so I left and have been trying to solo my way through the last 20 levels.  Also started playing on Dark Iron, which is... y'know... insane.  But, in a really fun way.

I just resubbed to WoW last week. Been playing ultra casual though. Still have my Paladin (yeah, yeah, I know, but it was a DAoC influenced decision) at level 17 and still have my 13 Shaman on Earthen Ring. Started a Mage on a PvP server because I wanted to try to recapture a little of the old AC PvP feel. We shall see...

Huh. Never played a Mage before. Could you elaborate?

Irth, raiding hunter on Earthen Ring, financing a string of alts from 15-60. Dicking around on a bunch of other alts and servers from time to time, but not prepared to really invest time in another server until PVP-RP comes along, at which point, game on.

My only complaint has been the disolution of my guild, which was mostly real friends (they all burnt out or got yelled at by their SOs to stop playing). I tried joining up one of the larger guilds, but the bigger guilds I found were full of selfish assholes. My old one was great, because we would all drop whatever we were doing to help bodyguard someone in Stranglethorn, or help them with a hard quest. In the big ones it's just a private version of Ironforge Chat ("59 Warrior, anyone wanna run Strath?" or "Can anyone give me some money/materials/items?"). The only salvation has been rolling Horde characters with my coworkers.

Just a quick review that is still WoW related.  So far I've put in an hour to get reacquainted with the game mechanics.  That's all well and good, but damn I miss WoW's engine while playing.  I mean, seriously, it is night and day.  Why oh why can't they make an SB with the finishing touches of WoW?  I'd play that in a heartbeat.  I'll give updates once the RP server goes live.

Oh and RP-PvP server on WoW?  Hrm, that sounds interesting actually.

Yeah, RP-PvP will be excellent. I'm just tinkering with characters while I wait for that server to go live. Fun with wit and killer instincts. ;)

Did that other guild disband?  Or did I get kicked?

Probably going back to my old server, Shadowsong/Horde.  I think I'd like to be able to twink my alts and having a lvl 60 rogue for money grinding is helpful along with a 300 skill alchemist.  Maybe I'll bribe newbies and start up my own "LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE" guild for all of my characters.  Anyone's welcome to join and I'll help when and where I can.  I'll be mostly casual as I'm kinda taking a break and will be leaving town for 2 weeks early in September.

"Running with Scissors" was somewhat of a delayed failure.  No offense to anyone involved, but yah.. maybe f13 guilds aren't such a good idea.

I'll be starting an Undead Mage on Shadowsong later tonight.

Y'know something's up anyways...I can't seem to get my name on that server (and yes, I am a unique snowflake, with a name comprised of an odd combination of consonants and 2 vowels).

I've got an undead priest that's around lvl 13 and an orc warrior that's just out of the newbie zone.  Send me an in-game email with your name and I'll wire you a couple gold to keep you funded. (this goes for anyone) I'm not loaded due to buying my swift orange raptor just before deciding that raiding sucks.

If you want we can set up a guild, or not. But I like the channel and lack of random invites that it entails. 

It's a mature server, so expect to see plenty of jackasses mulling around Org on their epic mounts.

For Shockeye's health, that's probably for the best. I wish I could turn my hunter into an orc and move him. Fun class.  Might play him some when they redo hunter pets.

Why this community keeps trying to make guilds in anything boggles the mind. It's like a bunch of ADD kids trying to build a model ship in a bottle.

That's why it's best not to try.  The best of us have attention spans the size of Jude Law's penis.   Anyhow, the two characters on Moonrunner only total a couple days played.  Nothing too harmful :)

Caveat: I know I don't know you guys that well from any in-game type play.

That being said.  I still play WoW frequently, but not hardcore.
 
I have a 56 Dwarf Priest mothballed on Ner'zhul. (I could move him to Crushridge but I don't play him anyway anymore) 
I just moved my very first attempt at a character, a level 29 Tauren Shaman, from Archimonde to Firetree.
I currently spend most of my time on Moonrunner.  33 Tauren Shaman.  Easymode PvE for the win.

So I'm around.  I solo almost exclusively due to the overall cockmunchery in PUG's.  I am fairly well sick of playing alone though.  So if anyone is playing on Moonrunner, or has some plan to move to server X and restart fromt he ground up and form regular hunting groups/teams etc. etc., I'd be interested.

I kicked off a newbie undead (Danivar the Priest).  I'll play most nights 9-11 EST or so but tend to get interrupted by baby duties from time to time.

Got a 60 Rogue on Sargeras, but got really sick of the drama on that server. Huge drama on the horde side. I started up a NE Warrior on Kelecgos, one of the new servers and am having a blast. Its really fun to have lots of people leveling up again. There is always groups to be found, and despite the mass amounts of asshats (I think a lot of people who sucked on their old servers rerolled on this new one), I have met some really cool people, and we have all been leveling together and helping each other with quests.

I will probably jump back on my old server for a bit to play the new battleground a few times and run the new raid instance a few times, but I really just hate some of the people there so much, it puts me off playing there.

If any one wants to start a new character, I suggest Kelecgos, right now its less than a month old, so there isnt a ton of people with raid gear and the honor curve isnt all out of wack yet.

Moonrunner seems to have a whack honor curve already....

I had more than 1k honor this past week, and lost 10 in the standings compared to the week before, while having mroe than 2x the honor.

I just rolled a Tauren Shaman on Dark Iron (PVP.) Yes, this is the server that's host to the PA vs CAD/PvP war. CAD 4tW!

That sounds like no fun at all. Large queues to get in so that everybody can join humungous guilds with the express intention of fawning over and ego-stroking some narcissistic web celebrities.

The daily raids and the fact that there's always someone on to group with makes it far better than Moonrunner. Also, no one really mentions anything pertaining to the people who started it. The guy who does CAD only told people what server he was on at first. Then the PA crew flat out said they were starting a guild and that they had the intent of crushing the PVP/CAD people. After that the CAD guy started up his own guild to counteract the 500+ force that is the PA guilds (Something like 5?)

I for one agree with Righ. So...I truly do thank him for that post  :-) There's no denying why people follow these groups around other than for what he said.

Celebrity is pathetic in general. Internet/Gamer Celebrity? Well....I don't even know what the hell to think about that.

Games are something meant to be played. Not something to develop a culture around...Let alone celebrities. Fuck gamer culture. And fuck PA (and whoever else). I'm tired of hearing about them.

Sorry, I don't fawn over the creator of CAD. To be honest I've not once seen him, tried to talk to him or care to know his characters name. And for what I've noticed the people who actually are playing are there because you're guaranteed someone to fight who wants you dead for reasons other than "OMFG PWNED!" Of course I could be wrong about my own reasons for playing.

Not nonsense. I just hate anything and everything that has nothing to do with the actual games themselves (btw, I'm not accusing you in particular of anything). I hate the whole culture surrounding gaming. I hate PA, I hate the Furors and Ebonlores, I hate "anyone of noteriety in the 'Ltm-disapora'", I hate the whole language and sense of humor of most gamers (I hate myself for even knowing what "OMFG PWNED!" means), I hate ytmnd, and I hate Vin Diesel.

You're telling me that you don't feel a bit out of touch? I would never suspect that you were a part of what I'm talking about. For one, you spell "the" as "the" more often than you spell it as "teh". You also understand just as much as I do (and more) that games are more entertainment and industry than they are culture. I doubt that you really care about virtual celebrities and high school-ish social pecking orders either (i.e. you have a life outside the internet so you don't need that kind of value system).

Actually, I hate almost everyone equally just on GP. You guys are in my monkeysphere, so the only ones of you I really hate are the ones who decide to be raging douchebags. And I think we all know who those are pretty quickly.

Unless they announce more than 3 RP-PVP servers, I don't know if it's worth the constant downtime and queues to play there.

Well, I hope they have a reasonable number of servers.  I was thinking about resubbing for that reason, especially since it'll probably be a month or so before this happens.  (have to sort out things at home before I get too involved with anything... there is a HUGE chance we'll be moving again shortly)

I hardly touch them, but I will if f13 has an active presence there.

My super secret plan was to only play when the servers are up.  Otherwise, I'd continue to play my characters on my first server.
