Grace Swears During D-Backs' TV Broadcast (http://www.620ktar.com/?nid=6&sid=68247)

by KTAR Newsroom

After a pair of expletives were heard during Tuesday night's broadcast from Miami, Arizona Diamondbacks television analyst Mark Grace is delivering apologies.

Grace used a four-letter-word twice but the team has stated he was unaware that his microphone was live.

Team President Rich Dozer said the incident is regrettable and said a faulty "talk-back" button is to blame.

After the game, the former D-Backs first baseman apologized and promised not to swear again during a broadcast.

No disciplinary action against Grace is planned, according to Dozer.

Thom Brennaman, Grace's broadcast partner, gave an on-air apology after the crew realized what had happened.

I cursed worse than that when I was 7 years old on the soccerfield. Of course, I was hunting people, not playing soccer.

Yay for Puritanism!

I didn't know Brenneman was doing DBacks broadcasts now. Or Grace for that matter. I like them both. Who cares what they said on the air?

Brenneman has been doing D'Backs broadcasts for years.
