I'm not a spammer or a shill for anyone.  I used to post on Grimwell but he's moved on to bigger things (Findsceave there fwiw).  I'm a PC gamer currently playing DAoC on classic servers because I'm a sucker.

Me too.  :(  We should start a belated welcome thread for everyone who didn't get one when they started posting.

I never got a welcome either, but then again, I never lurked. I do, however, recall being welcomed pretty instantly in that I never got n00blerized by anyone (it helps to suck up to an admin on the first day).

Two reasons -

One: you posted so many times in the first two days, that most people never even realized you were a noobler.

Two: there was a chance you might actually be female, and most of the board didn't know how to react.

I think mostly it was reason one though. Hell, you made enough posts in your first week to pass my post count I think. I'd call you a Board Whore, but that might get construed really wrongly.
