It's "You're the Man Now Dog". A long time ago someone made a website with that very address and a picture of Sean Connery with the text infinitely shadowed. For some reason it became a popular grief link, and now ytmnd lets you make your own.

99.9999% of them are retarded and not funny, but there's something amusing for everyone if you look.

Holy shit.  :-o  That dude has problems.

The site is made wrong, though.  It's for DAoC.  Cloudsong is an artifact, and if you listen you'll notice one of them says "It's Mordred, get used to it."  To my knowledge, there is no Cloudsong in WoW.

For some reason, I can't get it to play nice with Firefox.  The "manual install" basically tells me to get iTunes and Quick Time.  I just want goddamn QT, not  iTunes.

Well, according to dictionary.com, a rake is a libertine, and a libertine is a sexually promiscuous man, so it sounds correct.  But yes, judges should have given thumbs up on that.

Some of these are hilarious.

Nigga stole my bike is awesome. The fact that it really does sound like an NES game is great. (I'm a sucker for all NES related comedy) Tentacle Porn waiting to happen was great because of the music. (And I used to play MSHvSF all the time...) The leet-speak Katrina was was funny, as was the compilation of different fads.

Which reminds me...when the new Potter book was came out a couple months ago I saw two cute girls on the street, both with Harry Potter shirts. One had a tight "Republicans for Voldemort" shirt on over her um...perky...chest. It was both wrong right on so many levels. I assume Voldemort is the bad guy...what is the spoiler that appears in some of the ytmd things? Was that a real spoiler?

Title: Re: The YTMND Thread
Post by: Llava on September 29, 2005, 02:40:26 AM
Yes.  At the end of the most recently released book, <deep breath OMGSPOILER> Snape kills Dumbledore!!

Severus Snape, a teacher who has until now been sort of the loyal opposition (antagonist to Harry, but generally on the right side and fighting against Voldemort who is The Big Bad), has been a favorite of a lot of fans... particularly women, for whatever reason.  It broke a lot of those girls' hearts to find out that he was actually evil all along, and that he wasn't a diamond hidden deep in a chunk of coal.  Something, apparently, J.K.Rowling wanted to tell her female fans- If a guy acts like a dick, he's probably a dick.

Now, of course, you can read the Harry Potter thread we have here for people theorizing about whether or not Snape REALLY killed Dumbledore (Dumbledore, by the way, is the head of the school and is pretty much the nice old guy who's always there to hep out Harry when needed, not to mention an extremely powerful wizard... supposedly the strongest aside from Voldemort) or even if Dumbledore's really dead whether or not that means that Snape is actually evil as it might have been some sort of pre-planned "If you strike me down I will become more powerful than etc etc" or something having to do with Unbreakable Vows and Snape acting as a super secret sextuple agent to infiltrate Voldemort's followers, sacrifice for the greater good, etc etc.

I haven't read a single Harry Potter book.  But I'm pretty sure that's accurate.

I can't get to these at work, but even looking at the link :  I can tell this is the dialogue from 'Extras' that featured Patrick Stewart talking about his new movie where women's clothes fall off ?  "They try to cover up, but it's too late, I've seen everything."

If so, you NEED to download the full clip :  The facial expressions make the scene.  Patrick Stewart is Luv.

The google one is kind of funny, at work one time I was looking for information on some weird Java problem I had. I was looking for something like:
com.sun.ImageWatcher

And google said:

Are you sure you didn't mean "com.sun.asswatcher"?

Yeah...pretty sure.

WTF...I always hated that on College Jeopardy when they would ask comic book questions and thinkgs like that. These aren't 12-year-olds.

Leeroy Jenkins is a hero?

I think if I was on the show I would play dumb even though I know the answer. Maybe after Trebek read the answer I would shake my head like "wtf is he talking about?" Either that or just yell "LEEEEEROOOOOOOY" but not actually answer the question.

I have to ask what the hell does a girl with that voice look like?

Edit 2: I am a dumbass. Scroll up dimwit! I like the picture with her and Katie Holmes - it confirms that Holmes isn't very good looking, she's (the non-Holmes) much better looking.

Edit: That song is hilarious. (The ebaum one) Why would anyone steal shit like that anyway?

Edit 3: I once knew a girl 5' 2" 95 lbs but she's like a giant compared to this chick. If that's her real voice it would be hot for 30 seconds then quickly drive me insane. Unless she was dirty talking, then it would be hot for at least a couple of minutes.

It's not about patience.  It's about hoping that you'll get to hear what an aneurysm sounds like while the 4 other people listening in try to avoid being heard.

My cousin came to town about a year ago.  He and I share similar tastes in music and it's sort of a thing we do when we see each other that we give each other a bunch of CDs by groups we've been listening to of late.  He gave me a CD by a group called Nightwish, who I hadn't really heard much of or about, except the name was familiar.

So some of the songs on the CD are good, some aren't, overall I found the music to be excellent with questionable singing and then BAM, middle of track 9, "OH MY GOD IT'S EPIC!"  I wasn't really expecting to find the source of the epic music as I was driving around in my car listening to a borrowed CD.
