Title: This is lovely Post by: Signe on July 12, 2005, 08:26:17 AM (http://www.plexigrass.com/slatterninja.jpg)
It brought a tear to my eye.... Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Murgos on July 12, 2005, 08:37:58 AM Yeah, it's making my eyes water too.
"so he killed all the doctors and a monkey and the monkey ghost traind DOvis to be a ninja." Says it all really. Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Signe on July 12, 2005, 08:56:02 AM Well, I have to say that I thought the bit where he killed Blade and Blade 2 was inspired.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: HaemishM on July 12, 2005, 10:30:30 AM See, everything's better with monkies.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: shiznitz on July 12, 2005, 12:23:31 PM That kid's parents have been dead for 4 days at least.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: jpark on July 12, 2005, 12:38:42 PM It's not really material for jokes. Any kid writing a story that involves not just the death of his parents - by his own actions no less - is a red flag. It's disturbing.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: tazelbain on July 12, 2005, 12:49:33 PM Not his parent's, Davis's parents.
... and the Tooth Fairy ... and himself ... and the doctors ... and a monkey ... Blades 1 *and* 2 Note: why did he let Blade 3 live? Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Shockeye on July 12, 2005, 01:11:16 PM Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: ClydeJr on July 12, 2005, 01:26:23 PM I think you really have to work to make a background story that bad.
Kinda like the person who decided to make this costume: (http://www.arscoh.com/albums/EnronExecutive/FashionHorror.jpg) Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: shiznitz on July 12, 2005, 01:34:44 PM Wow. The randomizer would never even come up with that one.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Xanthippe on July 12, 2005, 01:42:20 PM I think Slatter Ninja is a 7 year old who is pissed off at his parents. Not terribly disturbing, unless he's not a 7 year old.
The outfit looks like one of the first designs my daughter came up with (minus the clown face - she likes to make pretty girls albeit with nonmatching clothes). Maybe by a 3 year old, though, who tend not to be bothered much by blue hair, polka dots and plaid. Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Llava on July 12, 2005, 02:03:43 PM I refuse to believe that that story is not a joke.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Signe on July 12, 2005, 02:06:58 PM Of course it's a joke.

Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Strazos on July 12, 2005, 04:02:29 PM That made me cry...
FROM LAUGHING. Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Xanthippe on July 12, 2005, 07:40:48 PM Signe, your avatar is quite... talented.
Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Trippy on July 12, 2005, 07:41:40 PM Kinda like the person who decided to make this costume: That reminds me of that semi-famous (at least when I played) dude from UO who dressed up in a jesters outfit will all sorts of mismatched colors. Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Signe on July 13, 2005, 03:11:38 AM To explain:
http://www.blogtelevision.net/p/Watch-Video-Meat-Porn___1,2,,7605.html It's not porn, regardless of what the url says up there. It was, however, banned in some places. Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Llava on July 13, 2005, 12:38:18 PM I am now convinced that Signe lives in an alternate reality.
That was a commercial for Carl's Jr., but at the end they reveal that the name of the restaurant is Hardee's. WHAT BRAVE NEW WORLD IS THIS? http://www.carlsjr.com/home Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: CmdrSlack on July 13, 2005, 12:59:43 PM I am now convinced that Signe lives in an alternate reality. WHAT BRAVE NEW WORLD IS THIS? http://www.carlsjr.com/home In the Southeast and Midwest, Carls Jr = Hardees. I believe Carl's bought out Hardee's. However, for some reason they're keeping the branding even tho the products, etc. are the same now. Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: Miscreant on July 13, 2005, 01:12:58 PM Magnificent! The Tooth Fairy's sword is the perfect touch.

But don't let that stop you! Title: Re: This is lovely Post by: schild on July 14, 2005, 08:27:48 AM The bashful smile at the end of that commercial makes it.
I downloaded a high quality one for my archive of useless shit back when the news hit about the commercial. I downloaded a high quality one for my archive of useless shit back when the news hit about the commercial. Someone, possibly you, posted a copy here in the amusing commercial thread awhile back. Saved it to my HD as well, it's... odd. Alkiera |
