Well that one is still up in the profile and I didn't see anything particular amusing with it. I thought there was another one that was removed that included TEH FUNNAH.

The picture in the thread is just being pulled from the profile at NBA.  NBA must've ninja-edited their pic.  The original had that guy falling in a bad/goofy way, with a woman in the stands behind him pointing and laughing.

I won't get in to it to much here, but believe me, there was a market for it. The NBA made it pretty clear they didn't want to be here though - certainly none of the players did.

Between Draconian limits on our salary cap and draft position, and shitty GM in Stu Jackson, we had a team that couldn't win 20 games a year for our first four seasons.

Despite that, here is a list of the attendance averages they had:

We went through such great moments as drafting Big Country Hick, Steve Francis refusing to play here, not being able to draft any higher than 4th in the year Tim Duncan was eligible - things like that. The team was sold around 1999 to a guy that everyone in the city knew was going to move the team. That pretty much finished off any interest locally.

There's another thing I didn't point out: Teams HATE to travel to the Pacific Northwest for games. They consider Seattle and Portland bad enough......That very well may have factored into what happened in Vancouver.

Lol, I just noticed that he was on the home court (white uniform), and still being laughed at by that woman on the front row (most likely a season ticket/hometown fan seat).
