I've accidentally backed up over three people trying to C4 me, but never been C4-sploded. I'm actually ridiculously effective in the tank because I'm 1. never driving where tanks are supposed to go, and 2. always trying to run over people, and these are things which nobody really expects or knows how to deal with, because it's so crazy and dumb. One time I killed three people because I knocked their jeep off a bridge with my tank, and sinking vehicles 'splode. One time I maliciously pushed a chinese van over, and then backed off and shot it as the people tried to get out. And tank v. tank combat is something I'm apparently really good at, because I never hold still, and all the time I spent playing Mechwarrior games allows me to intuitively know how to deal with body motion vs. seperate turret control. I like C4 on tanks, though. That one map where you gotta hold that building next to the oil tanks in China or whatever? Tank drivers know this cool little secret where they can sit the tank just close enough to trigger the flag. So I sit up there, wait for them to stop moving, and then dump C4 packets on them. The tank driver never learned, but the gunner figured out after the third time to just get out of the tank and leave the driver to his sodden fate. It works even better when that rare convoy of vehicles is going a bit fast...
