Title: Make Love! (The Bruce Cambell Way.) Post by: Merusk on June 17, 2005, 08:16:51 AM So I flip on the radio today and I hear the local rock station interviewing Brucie boy. Seems he's got a new book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0312312601/qid=1119020760/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/002-2805163-6404805?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) out that's titled as above. It sounds pretty interesting, and I wanted to know if anyone had picked it up. (And I just wanted to post since I know lots here like Bruce Campbell)
Instead of being an autobiography like the last one, this is a fiction book using himself as the main character. The premise is he's cast in an "A-list" movie with starring Richard Gere and Renee Zellweger and proceeds to screw the whole thing up due to his B-movie repitoire. He draws on his actual experiences for some things, leading to the jacket liner tag of, "...everything in the book actually happened, except for all the stuff that didn’t. " In related news they covered that he's directed a shlocky B-movie that he's touring with to promote both the movie and the book. It's titled "The Man With the Screaming Brain." and they said it's doing arthouse/ revival theater runs if that's your thing. Also he's supposed to be in some Disney flick with Kurt Russell.
