Just before 7 p.m., the man, whose name was not being released, told emergency officials that he was riding his bike near 550 W. 1800 North when he felt his pant leg get stuck on the sprocket, said a Provo firefighter. He looked down while the bicycle was still moving to free his pant leg. When the bicyclist looked back up, he was too close to the parked and unoccupied car to stop in time and ran into the car. Carly said the man flew off the bike and into the car, impaling his eye on the antenna. The bicyclist told the emergency crew that he pulled himself off the car, got onto his bike and rode about four blocks to his home. On arrival at his house the emergency crew found him running around and screaming. He was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for treatment. Carly said he was unsure of the extent of the man's injuries. Title: Re: Maybe he'll end up with a jaunty eye patch.
