Too bad they are coming absolutely nowhere near me.
I saw Frank Black play in Jackson right after his first solo albumn came out, with Joey Santiago on guitar. Helluva great show, especially with Rev. Horton Heat opening up for them. Three great bands, but Pixies were the kings of the 4AD label at this point. Looks like Frank Black is calling the shots - no East coast dates... so much hate.

He'll go with my brother in law and 2 nephews. I'll stay home and lament the fact that I don't go to shows anymore... for purely psychological reasons. I am a completely neurotic and dysfunctional human bean. Last gig I went to was Gong (hehe) almost 10 years ago, I think. Righ had to feed me 2 tabs of acid and promise not to leave my side to get me there, though. We were young and foolish back then.
