If you buy or preorder Battlefield 2 from EBgames, you'll get the free headsets from the DVD edition IN the preorder box. Typically $30, these are some pretty damn good wraparound the ear headsets. Worth the $5 (that you can apply to something else later).

Edit: Exact same headset that came with the Guild Wars Coll. Ed. So if you've seen or have those, you know what you're getting. And you also know they're pretty damn good.

4'? Around there. Long enough that I have a good 1-2' sitting on my floor.

I just plugged these things in and tried Teamspeak. The sound quality on these things is horrible.
