People submit the designs and other people vote on them. The people who made the goatse shirt have a big page where people vote on slogans and they hire a designer to make the shirt. Some of the shit is great.

Recently I voted on this slogan:
"WHITE GUYS: STOP ACTING BLACK"

They throw up about 50 slogans or something per page to vote on, but I'm very picky - mostly because shirts are $20 with shipping.

I went to buy a shirt here, because I finally found one I really like, and somebody snatched the last one before I could check out with it.

Also turns out that the "I <3 (picture of shotgun) (picture of zombie)" shirt my brother picked up from a used clothing store was a threadless design.

So I just had to give kudos to Threadless for having excellent customer service.  I ordered a nifty shirt for my wife for mother's day.  It never came.  I emailed them, stopped by the warehouse (living less than a mile away for the win) and snagged her shirt plus a few more.  They were prompt, cool, and their warehouse makes me wish I'd applied to work for them, thus abandoning my career, when they had openings last year.  It's like an IT startup in the 90s....sweet gaming setup, a MAME emulator cabinet, free shit to eat and drink coolers, etc.

My only regret is that the shirt I'd ordered for myself (their "In Case of Zombies" print) was out of stock....so my shirt is just floating out there in the mail somewhere.  But no biggie, I got two nifty ones to replace it....and only paid for one, natch.

I think they reprinted the In Case of Zombies recently?  I have one and when Killjoy saw it he almost broke down in tears and cursed my wife for not buying him one.  He even refused to read it, or speak of the event for the rest of the weekend.

I love the Threadless $10 sales.  I've bought shirts for nearly everyone.  I bought my sister an especially arty farty pink one with fat peach ladies.
