They, however, divorced about four years ago. On April 12, this year at about 2200 hours Evelyn went to Mr Zornyira's house and started insulting him without any provocation. Mr Zornyira asked Evelyn to leave his house, as most of the tenants in the house were asleep. Prosecution said Evelyn refused and picked a shovel and attacked Mr Zornyira but some of the tenants and witnesses restrained her. Soon after, Evelyn held Mr Zornyira's genitals from behind and pulled them. Mr Zornyira shouted for help and was rescued by witnesses. A look at the genitals revealed that harm had been done to his scrotum exposing one of his testicles. Prosecution said Mr Zornyira was rushed to the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
