Title: Hey Billy, let's take the class to see corpses! The exhibits are forcing some to ask whether displaying spliced human bodies is art, exploitation or science. Some ethical experts said the shows commercialize death and are unnecessary for scientific education. But some viewers at an exhibit in San Francisco disagree. There medical students and massage therapists said they were seeking a deeper look at the human body. And one 9-year-old who took in the same exhibit said she would go see another. She said "It's amazing to see things you always wanted to know about the body." Title: Re: Hey Billy, let's take the class to see corpses! Post by: kaid on May 06, 2005, 11:56:04 AM I think thats a great thing as long as there are big warnings about exactally what is in the room so people don't wander in by accident. The human body is an amazing thing and when I die if my dead body can help instruct others or better yet get them interested in helping others and saving lives I am fine with that.
But there better be big warnings that would be a hell of an eye opener if you did not know what was in that room when you walked in. kaid |
