But for some reason I really enjoy collecting blacksmithing plans, so I'll probably end up collecting the hojillion bars you need for the whole set. Not too shabby for crafted. The Gusting Vortexes that drop them spawn only in Tanaris, and that place is huge.

They are placeholders for the Vortexes (Vortices?), or so it seems. You just need to wander around and find the right spawn points. Also group up with someone. I noticed the drop rates shot up when I grouped with a guildmate who was soloing in another zone. |
