"We're always looking for the right idea and we didn't have it [with Sovereign]," he said. "We will be in the strategy market. It's just a matter of timing. We'll get it eventually. Our goal is to be the dominant player in every major genre." The new MMO game should be shown at E3. Sony Online has previously worked on EverQuest, EverQuest II, Star Wars Galaxies and Planetsides, all MMO games for the PC. The company has also released some EverQuest-branded hack-and-slash games for the PS2. Most recently, Sony Online shipped Untold Legends, an action-RPG, for PSP.
